The Library is the house reading room: public-domain books pulled live from Project Gutenberg and Standard Ebooks, listening editions from LibriVox, and the public-domain film shelf Dawnfold's Documentary department draws from. Its books are bundled in The Library app and read fully offline; the shelves below are its own — the same shelves the app opens on.
A shelf sponsor takes the labeled sponsor chair on one shelf for a month. The audience is growing and these are founding rates — we don't print reach numbers we can't prove; when we can prove them, they'll be on this page.
What a shelf sponsor gets
- A named, labeled sponsor chair on the shelf — “This shelf is carried by …” with your name on it, printed as a sponsor chair and labelled SPONSOR. Never dressed up as a book, a review, or editorial.
- The chair for a full month on the shelf you pick, at the founding rate below.
- For the Documentary Shelf, the chair printed in that department of Dawnfold's edition as well — the shelf and the edition carry the same chair.
- A conversation first. Every sponsorship starts with an inquiry below; payment is arranged (PayPal, like everything in the house) once we've agreed the run. Nothing is charged by this page.
Shelf rates below are founding rates — set by the owner (owner-struck — live (2026-10-30)). The register price shown includes the house processing-fee pass-through, the same way Dawnfold's rate card shows its prices. The whole-Library “Presented by” rate at the bottom is still an assessed rate, pending final confirmation.
