ScreenQR — Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Who we are

ScreenQR (Android app com.usefulappz.screenqr) is developed by Usefulappz™ (Mike Kelley). Contact: mikekelleyii.mk2@gmail.com

The short version

ScreenQR has no internet permission at all — the app is technically incapable of sending your data anywhere. No accounts, no server, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Every QR code is decoded on your device, and everything stays on your device.

How scanning works

What the app stores

Nothing of yours. ScreenQR keeps no history of the codes you scan. If you copy a result or share it, that happens through Android's clipboard or share sheet to the app you pick, under that app's privacy policy — ScreenQR itself sends nothing.

Permissions, and why

Purchases

If you buy the app, Google Play processes the payment. We never see or store your card details.

Children

ScreenQR is a general utility tool. It is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
