Loophole Ciphers — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Who we are
Loophole Ciphers (Android app com.usefulappz.ciphertoy) is developed by Usefulappz™ (Mike Kelley). Contact: mikekelleyii.mk2@gmail.com
The short version
Loophole Ciphers requests zero permissions — it has no internet permission at all, so the app is technically incapable of sending your data anywhere. No accounts, no server, no ads SDK, no analytics, no tracking. Every cipher is worked out on your device, and everything stays on your device.
How the app works
- The cipher tools (Caesar, Atbash, keyword substitution, and Morse with tap-to-play tones) run entirely on your device. Text you type or paste into the tools is processed locally and is never transmitted anywhere.
- The daily cipher puzzle is generated on your device. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing phones home.
What the app stores
Nothing of yours is collected or kept by us. If the app remembers anything at all, it is your own in-app state on your own device; uninstalling the app erases it.
Permissions, and why
- None. Loophole Ciphers requests no Android permissions.
- Internet: NOT requested. The app cannot connect to the internet.
Ads
This version contains no advertising SDK. A labeled placeholder space is reserved in the app for a possible future version; it collects nothing. If an ad-supported build ever ships, this policy and the app's Google Play declarations will be updated first.
Children
Loophole Ciphers is a general-audience reference and puzzle tool. It is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
