Tessellated Hummingbird at Bloom ♥ 0

Birds > Tessellated Hummingbird at Bloom

"Tessellated Hummingbird at Bloom" is an original design drawn in a mosaic hand, and it knows exactly what it is about. Creature pieces live or die on the anatomy of the focal animal, and this one is drawn to be read at a glance: strong silhouette first, detail second. It sits in the Birds > Tessellated Hummingbird at Bloom shelf of the gallery, alongside the rest of the studio's original catalog.

The image is assembled from tile-like segments, each one a flat piece of the whole — the drawing plans every tile before your artist inks the first one. Pattern work reads best where the body offers a flat, centered canvas — sternum, spine, forearm, calf or chest — and a good artist will stencil it on and mirror-check the symmetry against your body before inking.

What you are buying is the working pair: full-color finished art plus the clean linework stencil your artist will transfer to skin. The preview here is linework only by design — the color version is delivered privately after purchase. And if it is almost right — a name worked in, different flowers, the composition flipped to fit the other arm — order it as a custom variation and an artist will redraw it to your notes.
