Origami Butterfly ♥ 0

Insects & Bugs > Origami Butterfly

Start with the drawing itself: "Origami Butterfly", worked in origami, composed around one clear focal point that reads the moment you see it. Animals carry their meaning without a word of lettering — posture, eye and silhouette do all the talking, which is why the drawing spends its effort there. It sits in the Insects & Bugs > Origami Butterfly shelf of the gallery, alongside the rest of the studio's original catalog.

Each facet takes a flat tone or a single gradient, so the piece reads as paper, light and shadow rather than flesh or fur. Pattern work reads best where the body offers a flat, centered canvas — sternum, spine, forearm, calf or chest — and a good artist will stencil it on and mirror-check the symmetry against your body before inking.

The purchase delivers the complete working set: the full-color original and its matching clean linework, ready to hand to your artist. Only the linework is ever shown publicly — buyers get the color, everyone else gets the outline. Like it but need it changed — colors swapped, an element added, sized for a specific spot? That is what the custom-variation order is for: the same drawing, reworked by an artist around your notes.
