Origami Crane ♥ 0

Birds > Origami Crane

"Origami Crane" is an original design drawn in a origami hand, and it knows exactly what it is about. Animals carry their meaning without a word of lettering — posture, eye and silhouette do all the talking, which is why the drawing spends its effort there. It sits in the Birds > Origami Crane shelf of the gallery, alongside the rest of the studio's original catalog.

The subject is folded, on paper, into planes — the drawing replaces curves with crisp facets, like the finished fold of an origami figure. Sizing matters more than usual here: the placement has to be big enough that the pattern's rhythm stays legible, and centered placements show the construction off best.

What you are buying is the working pair: full-color finished art plus the clean linework stencil your artist will transfer to skin. The preview here is linework only by design — the color version is delivered privately after purchase. And if it is almost right — a name worked in, different flowers, the composition flipped to fit the other arm — order it as a custom variation and an artist will redraw it to your notes.
