Pixelated Skull ♥ 0

Skulls / Death / Gothic > Pixel Skull

"Pixelated Skull" — pixel art work — is built the way good tattoo art is built: a strong focal subject, deliberate line, and nothing in the composition that does not earn its place. Dark subjects are a gift to a tattoo artist: bone, shadow and negative space give them the strongest contrasts in the craft to work with. It sits in the Skulls / Death / Gothic > Pixel Skull shelf of the gallery, alongside the rest of the studio's original catalog.

The image is built on a pixel grid, each square of color placed deliberately — a drawing style borrowed from early game art and translated to skin. Sizing matters more than usual here: the placement has to be big enough that the pattern's rhythm stays legible, and centered placements show the construction off best.

Buy it and you receive two files: the finished full-color artwork and the matching clean linework — the pair a tattoo artist actually works from, stencil first, color reference beside it. The gallery only ever shows the linework preview, so the finished color stays the buyer's. And if it is almost right — a name worked in, different flowers, the composition flipped to fit the other arm — order it as a custom variation and an artist will redraw it to your notes.
